Instantaneous application (Skt. kṣaṇikaprayoga; Wyl. skad cig ma’i sbyor ba) is the seventh of the eight topics of the Abhisamayalankara.
Instantaneous application is defined as the bodhisattvas’ yoga in which one reaches the culmination of the progressive meditation on the threefold knowledge.
Merely in terms of conceptual distinctions, it has four subdivisions.
It is present only at the end of the tenth bhumi.
